Focus until your eyes cross.  Part of being a proactive leader is beginning with the end in mind. Today I want to you to look at what your focusing on.


A lot of network marketers don’t focus they don’t know whether they are coming or going.  They are trying to do more things than they can handle at once.  Even though they think they can in the end nothing gets done.   Right ? Working more than one business or working on more than one advertising method before they even mastered the first one.  Now how far can you expect to get focusing on more than one thing at a time?


Let’s just say for example you 5 different businesses. How much time can you actually devote to each one? If you only have $300 a month to spend for your business then you really only have $60 to use per business. That’s just the business that’s not counting any advertising that you may be doing. Marketing is another thing.  What since does it make for you be working 6 times as hard as some one working just one business?  None.


So being focused is very important. If you are working multiple streams of income and having success, then congratulations you are one of the very few to be able to do that and be successful at it.  But as for those that are not having success with it focus, focus, focus.

5 Pillars of Success: Part 5: Does your Mentor offer a System for Success that will work for You?

Duplication is vital to your success in network marketing. When looking for or creating a duplicatable system you must ask yourself:

1. Can I teach this to others? 

2. Can they easily do what I just did? 

3. Can they afford do spend what I just spent.

I have always been told if it's not duplicatable don't do it. I found that to being very helpful when looking for a system to build a business.

If your system is not duplicatable you may not have the success you were looking for. When everybody is doing their own thing. Nobody knows whats working for who.

Duplication is all about repetition. There is not one person that can say that can't duplicate. Here are just a couple of examples:

1. Most people go to work and do the same thing over and over again to get the same results they got before.
Because it's their J.O.B to duplicate.

2. Just take a look at automobiles. There are lots of cars that look alike. And they sell lots of them.
Here is another key point to consider when looking at it.

The things you are duplicating. Are they duplicating success or failure?
After all is said and done is the finished product what you expected?
Is your teams organization starting to grow like your is?

These are just questions to ponder when you are teaching your downline to duplicate.
If you can't have what you've done repeated over and over again. How do you ever expect to retire from the business?

That's why duplication is so important.
No duplication. No retirement you may as well have stayed at your J.O.B.
Don't think about it just make it happen and make sure it's something everybody is capable of doing. No matter what.

5 Pillars of Success- Part 4 Does The Pay Plan Pay Part Timers.

Out of 100 people 95 of them would be part time network marketers.  So it wouldn’t   make sense to fairly pay the people who are working the business part time. 

Make sure to keep your eyes out for those companies that say that they have created multiple six-figure earners.  If they have that many six-figure earners who do you think isn’t getting any of that money at all.  That’s right. The part timers aren’t getting that money is because they are at the bottom.

Have you ever taken the compensation plan test?  Take it now and lets see what you come up with.

Ask yourself “How many people do I need to make a residual income of $1,000 per month?”  There are some companies out there where you will need as many as 1000 and as few as 40.  If your sponsor can’t or won’t answer this question for you then you should run.  There is something that they don’t want you to know if they can’t answer this simple question.   If that’s the case mostly likely you are working 3 or 4 times harder than you need to achieve your goals.

If you are receiving anything less than 10% in commissions on product sales you are severely underpaid.  If all your company wants is recruit, recruit, recruit run as fast as you can.  After all network marketing is about moving product to the end consumer.  If you spend all your time recruiting the where does the customer come in? 

If most of your commissions are not coming from products sales then you are most likely involved in a scam.
